Bryland Homes
Bryland is an ENERGY-STAR Certified Builder, with a consistent history of receiving 5 STAR ratings on all of of its new homes. Bryland employees are well versed in new technologies for constructing energy-efficient, environmentally friendly homes. Some of the things we do to achieve our 5 STAR rating:
1. Caulk everytime 2 pieces of wood meet on an exterior wall. Without this the energy loss would equate to leaving a window open everyday, all year long!
2. Wrap every seal in the heating system with Duct Mastic Taping to ensure minimal loss of energy through the heat ducts.
3. Use foam blown insulation with a higher R-value. This keeps the home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
4. Use Energy Star Windows: Double insulated, filled with Argon gas, use Low-E glass (reflects heat in summer, absorbs heat in the winter).
